Distillery passes zoning hurdle

Ian Hunter and Jesse Brenneman moved a step closer to their dream of bringing “damn righteous spirits” to Salem. The Zoning Board of Appeal voted four to one to allow the two to locate Deacon Giles Distillery, a craft liquor distillery with tasting room, at 75 Canal Street.
